Get Blake Lively's Red Carpet Look!

You don’t have to be a Gossip Girl fan to admire the looks of this leading lady! Blake Lively always looks fantastic but we are especially in love with this casual, yet stunningly gorgeous look.

You can achieve this look without the help of a professional makeup artist. A quick update to your normal beauty routine and you’ll be red carpet ready in no time!

Part of the freshness of this look is Blake’s eyes. The highlight in the inner corner makes her eyes pop and gives her a well-rested look. Jane Iredale’s Eye Highligher Pencil is perfect for this.  A jumbo dual-ended pencil designed to highlight the eye area, this can line the eyes, and highlight above the brow bone or cheekbone. It is easy to use and instantly wakes up tired eyes and gives them a lift.

Don’t you love the bold lip she’s rocking? The bright color and matte texture is so chic and on-trend. Smashbox makes a great matte lip color and there are two shades in the Be Legendary Collection that are perfect for this look. Try Electric Pink or Fuchsia Flash.  If you’re a little skeptical about such a bright lip, try blotting your lips and adding a sheer gloss on top. It will still give your lips a bold color but will be slightly muted by the gloss’ shininess.

Unless you’re one of the lucky ones who can wake up with hair like this, you’re going to need a little help with some products and tools. Fortunately this beachy glam look can easily be achieved for people with a normal hair texture. Fekkai makes a set of Full Blown Volume products that will give you the starting point to this look. Use the shampoo and conditioner and comb through the styling whip before blow drying your hair. These products contain a hair-plumping complex formula for all-out body.
After you’ve dried your hair, add extra volume with hot rollers. T3 makes a great set of hot rollers that are big enough to give you volume without creating Shirley Temple curls. A quilted traveling case makes these rollers convenient for when you need volume on the go.
Let the rollers get nice and hot and separate your hair into large sections. Working your way from the front to the back, take the large sections and roll your hair around the hot roller. Once they have cooled, release them and use your fingers to comb through. Using a brush will eliminate the volume and cause your hair to go flat. (see image below for T3 feature in Redbook Magazine)
All of these products are available at Glow. Try them out and don’t be surprised when the paparazzi starts following you in the supermarket!
